Using Windows to install MarkMyScriptures CE
Prerequisite: The setup routine requires the ActiveSync program (Or PC Connect for the Cassiopeia BE-300) to be running on your computer. This program should have been installed automatically when you installed the CD that came with your Device. (Click here to download ActiveSync from Microsoft's website)
1. Download MarkMyScriptures CE (click here to download)
2. Choose "Run this program from it's current
location"
at the download screen (A) and choose "OK" button
3. Choose "Yes" button at the Security Warning Screen (B)
4. At the WinZip Self Extractor screen (C), click "Setup" button
5. At the MarkMyScriptures Install screen (D), choose the Palm user you want to use to install MarkMyScriptures.
6. Download either the LDS Standard Works or KJV Bible (click here for LDS Standard Works, here for KJV Bible only)
7. Choose "Run this program from it's current
location"
at the download screen (A) and choose "OK" button
8. Choose "Yes" button at the Security Warning Screen (B)
9. At the WinZip Self Extractor screen (C), click "Setup" button. You should see the following screen:

10. Connect your handheld device to the computer. This should start an ActiveSync or PC Connect session.
11. Once the session is established, click the "Install/Update MarkMyScriptures" button in the MarkMyScriptures CE Setup Screen (Above)
12. After the program is installed, it should start automatically on the device
13. Click either "Install LDS Standard Works (includes KJV)" button or the "Install KJV Bible" button to install a BASIC scripture set into MarkMyScriptures CE. (BASIC is one without footnotes)
14. Once the program is started on the handheld device, choose "refresh" button to see the newly installed scripture documents.
(Optional - Import from Palm) 15. If you have marks and topics from a previous Palm install on the same computer, you can import them into your CE device by choosing the "Copy underline files and topic files from Palm" button.
(Optional - Import from Palm) 16. On the handheld device, choose the first scripture document. With the document open, tap the top left corner of the MarkMyScriptures program screen. This should bring up the menu system. Under the DOC menu, you should see an option to import marks for the file that you have open. Repeat these steps for each document.
(Optional - Import from Palm) 17. On the handheld device, tap the top left corner of the MarkMyScriptures program screen. This should bring up the menu system. Under the DOC menu there is an option to import topics. this will show you a list of topics to import. Select the ones you want to import.
18. Click on the EXIT button in the MarkMyScriptures setup program.
