How do I Install MarkMyScriptures on my Palm?

Using Windows to install MarkMyScriptures

Prerequisite: The setup routine requires the hotsync program to be running on your computer. This program should have been installed automatically when you installed the CD that came with your Palm. (Click here to download from Palm's website)

1. Download MarkMyScriptures (click here to download)

2. Choose "Run this program from it's current location"
at the download screen (A) and choose "OK" button

3. Choose "Yes" button at the Security Warning Screen (B)

4. At the WinZip Self Extractor screen (C), click "Setup" button

5. At the MarkMyScriptures Install screen (D), choose the Palm user you want to use to install MarkMyScriptures.

6. Download either the LDS Standard Works or KJV Bible (click here for LDS Standard Works, here for KJV Bible only)

7. Choose "Run this program from it's current location"
at the download screen (A) and choose "OK" button

8. Choose "Yes" button at the Security Warning Screen (B)

9. At the WinZip Self Extractor screen (C), click "Setup" button

10. At the MarkMyScriptures Install screen (D), choose the Palm user you want to use to install MarkMyScriptures.

11. Put your Palm on your hotsync cradle and click the hotsync button on the cradle (alternatively, you can start the hotsync program on your palm and tap the hotsync picture (E))

12. Tap the Applications (F) button on your Palm. Choose ALL applications. MarkMyScriptures should be listed on your screen.

13. Start MarkMyScriptures. You should see the scriptures you selected. If not, tap the Refresh button, or go to Installation Problems and Troubleshooting
